An interesting article appeared in the Los Angeles Times on 20 May, 2020. It skilfully demonstrates another way in which the Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way in which people’s behaviour about the simple act of paying for goods or services has been influenced by the novel virus. It may be that our digital transformation would have ensured that this trend was inevitable anyway, but the virus is likely to accelerate that trend, at the very least.
